Marie-Noelle Swiderski has been a design professional since 1993, after graduating from the Montreal International Academy of Design and interning at Ecart in Paris, Andree Putman’s design studio at the time. After diverse roles in Paris and Montreal, she joined the Blanchard team as senior designer in London, where she managed several complex projects. In 2006, Marie-Noelle moved to Dubai and launched the Blanchard studio in Design House. A Member of the British Institute of Interior Design (BIID) and, locally, of the Association of Professional Interior Design (APID), Marie-Noelle and the Blanchard studio won High Commendations at the 2010 CID Awards in the Interior Designer of the Year and Residential Interior of the Year categories. The Blanchard team is composed of highly experienced, versatile, creative and technical minds from diverse backgrounds, whose daily attentive collaboration give each Blanchard project its unique harmony.

Jamie graduated from McGill University, Montreal Canada in 1999, around a two year break to work and travel in Asia. After 6 years gaining professional experience in London, he moved to Dubai to surf the wave of opportunity presenting itself to ambitious expatriate architects. After learning the basics of building delivery in the Middle East, he accepted an architectural position at Blanchard to fulfill his career by working as part of a team tailoring exciting residential designs for specific sites and clients. His own design process is as ‘natural’ as possible, with the concept for the building formed during the exploration of complex interrelationships between function, context, environment, and end user. Each project is a unique and exciting expression of this dynamic, the result of an accelerated evolution of rational and intuitive responses as the design progresses. Rather than use a style as a starting point, he prefers to let the starting point define the style.

During his eleven years of experience working within the UK’s construction and engineering industry, Mehmet was successfully involved in the completion of some of the most prestigious residential and commercial projects, including London’s infamous Knightsbridge luxury apartments, Park Lane private residential suites and The O2 Arena. Mehmet rounds off his very technical background and practical approach to design with an Interior Design diploma at London’s KLC School of Design. Mehmet joined Blanchard Dubai in 2008, as Project Coordinator, managing the complex synergy between the Blanchard architectural/interior design team and the various other consultants and contractors involved in making our projects successful. In joining Blanchard, Mehmet has been fulfilling his long term ambitions of being part of a team creating beautifully detailed, eminently livable yet elegant and timeless homes

Patrick moved from Paris to London where he studied fashion at the prestigious St Martin’s School of Art, worked at Covent Garden Opera House on set design and eventually obtained a degree in Interior Architecture. Upon graduation Patrick honed his skills for five years in a well respected firm of architects. Some private property development projects then proved very successful, earning him exposure in various magazines, TV home interior programme features and two Commendations for Kitchen & Bathroom Designer of the Year in 2007. Specialising in high end residential refurbishment Patrick worked for property developers as well as boutique interior design studios such as The Studio at Harrods where he completed one of The Studio’s most high profile projects for Qatar Holdings.

Patrick joined Blanchard Dubai as Design Director in 2011, with a wealth of experience, in high end residential sector as well as hospitality, looking forward to his involvement and contribution to the continued success of Blanchard.

Caren joined Blanchard in 2007, after having graduated from architectural school in DHVCAT Bacolor, Pampanga, Philippines. As the company grew, so did Caren, taking on a growing diversity of roles within the scope of a small, but very fully employed office. She handles the most significant proportion of the architectural draughting carried out in house, from plans and elevations, to technical and structural details and furniture design working drawings. Caren also occasionally acts as FF&E coordinator, managing sampling, costing, answering calls and organizing of Blanchard’s finishes library. She watches after the office’s smooth operations with care and discretion, ensuring everything the team needs it always to hand.
